Below you will find my Nails of the Week. I really like OPI's Cuckoo for this Color from the Swiss Collection. The polish has a smooth application and dries quickly. I applied two coats with a base coat and top coat. I also applied one coat of Sinful Colors Nail Junkie Glitter Polish to a couple of my nails.
*Base Coat - China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat
*Top Coat- Diamond Cosmetics Super Dry Top Coat

Last week I did a post on Sinful Colors Nail Polishes being on Sale at Walgreens for $0.99. I was asked to swatch the polishes I purchased. Below you will find the pics of the swatches.
* Base Coat - China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat
*Top Coat - Diamond Cosmetics Super Dry Top Coat
* The swatches of Summer Peach, Irish Green, and Dream On all have a coat of Sinful Color's Snow Me White.

The style of handbags I have been lemming for is the satchel. I have my eye on a few satchels for the fall. I'm leaning toward the Madison Ocelot Print Coach or the metallic gold Kate Spade satchel. Below you will find the satchels I 've been checking out.
I picked up Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Color in Peach Petal mainly because it looked very similar to MAC's Boy Bait. I could not wait to get home to compare. Below you will find my comparison.

In the pictures you can see that Revlon's Peach Petal is more milky in color and MAC's Boy Bait is more beige. I would say that Peach Petal is not an exact dupe but very similar in color once it is worn.

Over the weekend I was able to snag two of the new Revlon Limited Edition Summer 2010 Super Lustrous lip glosses. They introduced five colors: Peach Petal, Coral Reef, Firecracker, Pink Pop, and Lilac Pastelle. I purchased the colors Coral Reef and Peach Petal.
Revlon touts this lip gloss as a glossy formula that combines a sheer formula with intense moisture with light-reflecting spheres to create amazing shine. It also has SPF15. Normally retails from $7.99 - $8.99.

My Take:
I am really impressed with the Super Lustrous lip gloss. In my opinion this is a quality product for a drugstore brand. The colors are a semi-sheer cream color with no shimmer. They are non-sticky and hydrating to your lips. They are creamy, smooth, and very easy to apply. You can wear alone or layered over lipstick. Also, they have a very mild, pleasant scent. I really like the fact that they have SPF15. I purchased these from Wal-Mart and they cost about $6.50.

Walgreens is currently running a special on Sinful Colors Nail Polish for $0.99 and no limit. The sale is currently for this week only. If you get a chance stop by your local Walgreens and pick up some. Below are the pictures of what I got. I will do a swatches and reviews of each in a later post. Mini GlossandSticks picked out the glitter polishes. She loves glitter polishes.

This week I am wearing Diamond Cosmetics Crushed Velvet. Crushed Velvet is a purple cream color. I used two coats. I found it easy to apply. The only downside is the nail polish brush. I believe my application would be better if I used a different brush. The polish is also fast drying. I am also wearing Seche Vite Crystal Clear Base and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.
I had to abandon the Diamond Cosmetics Super Dry Top Coat. Once it dried it would peel away like plastic.
This polish can be purchased from Diamond Cosmetics.
After class yesterday, I came home and found this is on my doorstep.
In my head, I was literally having a party with confetti and balloons. LOL! I know that was a little dramatic, but that is how I felt. I am like a little kid in the candy store when I come home to packages on my doorstep. Below you will see what I got in my little package from Sephora.

Every since these Makeup Forever (MUFE) lipsticks have come out, I could not wait to get my hands on them. According to the advertisement, Rouge Artist Intense lipstick has amazing coverage with vivid color and comes in 50 shades for everyone. It is available in 3 finishes- matte, pearly, and satin. If you purchase #43 Moulin Rouge or #17 Gold before 09/15/2010 a $1.00 donation will benefit the Beauty Bus Foundation*.
#15 is described as a pearly violet.
#43 is described as a satin vibrant red.

My Initial Take ( I will further review these lipsticks later.):
The texture of the lipsticks are creamy and highly pigmented. It is very true to the color on the lips. What you see in the tube is what you get. They are also very moisturizing and long lasting. They cost $19.00 a piece.

I wanted to get a lip gloss. I have never tried Sephora lip glosses, so I decided to purchase one of their new formulated Ultra Shine lip gloss. According to Sephora, it is a maximum-shine, moisturizing gloss with "multi-holographic" shimmers. It also states that it is hydrating to the lips. This lip gloss comes in 3 finishes. They are reflex: ultra-opalescent effect for a jewel-like finish, shimmering: opalescent effect for an elegant luster, and shiny: opalescent-free, for a wet-looking effect. I chose the Reflex Black Energy. The cost of the lip gloss is $14.00. (source)
My Initial Take ( I will further review these lipsticks later.):
I like the size of the lip gloss. The color in the tube is very sparkly. However, once I took the wand out I saw very little glitter. It has an houglass shaped applicator that I feel is useless. Sephora claims that this shape allows you to pick up an ample amount of gloss, not in my opinion. I definitely give it two thumbs up for the smell. It has a mild cotton candy scent. Another plus is the glitter is extremely fine. Lastly, it is very sheer and not sticky. It would be nice to layer it with a complimentary lipstick or lip gloss. I feel the pricetag of $14.00 is a little high compared to other brands that have a good lip gloss product, such as NYX- $4.00.

I love Sephora because they always give good samples and gifts. I will review them in a future post.
If you have purchased some of the Rouge Artist Intense lipstick or Sephora Ultra Shine lip gloss, let me know how you like it.
